Important Customer News: ISO 9000:2000 Process Approach to Auditing IRS Tax Benefits of ISO 9000

COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION POLICY FOR CLIENTS NOT YET UPGRADED TO ISO 9000:2000*

Clients who did not upgrade to the ISO 9001:2000 standard prior to December 15, 2003 may receive an ISO 9001 or 9002:1994 compliance certification. This certificate will be issued with only the PJR logo (no accreditation body seals). It will be issued with the current date and will expire within either a six-month or one-year time frame. Certificate numbers issued will be identifiable as a compliance certificate (i.e. Comp-01, 02 or 03). All clients are required to pay PJR a deposit of the amount of their first surveillance audit in order to receive a six-month certificate, or a deposit of the first and second surveillance audit to receive a 12-month certificate. For annual clients, a deposit of two surveillance audits will be required. (Existing PJR clients should continue with their normal surveillance audit schedule.) The certificate coordinators will issue compliance certificates only when the deposit has been paid in full. Since the deadline for upgrading to ISO 9001:2000 has passed, registration to the 2000 standard is treated as an initial registration audit even though a compliance certificate has been issued. There may be exceptions to full registration time, based on the discretion of the Program Manager or President.
